What a privilege to work on this project using a sensational 5.00ct. Ceylon Blue sapphire (cushion cut) accented perfectly by "half-moon" cut diamonds — all set into a custom designed platinum mounting. A recent trend in bridal rings, made popular by Kate Middleton and Prince William, is using a genuine blue sapphire in the center instead of the traditional diamond. Each of these three rings features a hand-picked Ceylon Blue Sapphire from the Tucson Gem Show in February. I selected three new ring settings - Vintage designs - which have amazing workmanship.
